Brawl Talk: Upcoming Update - Global Launch Soon?

Supercell has announced new Brawl Stars update. This update will change whole game. It’s gonna be large update with big changes.

In interview, Brawl Stars community manager Ryan Lighton said that this update will not release game globally. Unfortunately, Android users will have to be patient and wait for it.
Biggest change in this update will be moving game form portrait to landscape, a big change for the game. Because of this update, Supercell needed to change 80% of game. Game is moved to landscape because more and more players use joysticks. It’s easier for new players.

Most of tap is gone. Now we got a dual joysticks. Left one is for movement and right one is for aiming. Game is moved to auto-attack witch is also a large change.
Camera angle is also different because of landscape mode. Now players will have wider view on a map. It doesn’t matter if you use big device as iPad or smaller smartphones, you will see the same amount of map.

In this new update Supercell is redoing the whole upgrade system again. It will be similar to Clash Royale. You will be able to upgrade your brawlers with power points and coins. With this new system it is simpler. You’ll get finer more meaningful upgrades so you can actually feel that boost when you get an upgrade.

Another big thing in this update will be shop. It will be upgraded to. For example if you are level 9, you will be able to get star power out of the shop. That means that you don’t have to wait for those to drop in brawl box anymore. As we mention before, this update will not have global launch. That is becouse Supercell wanna see how will players react on this update.
Unfortunately, there will be no new brawlers in this update.

Ryan Lighton reveal that in next update they will work on spectate mode, tournaments, social features and quest. He took a great attention when he says that they will work on eSports too. He didn’t tell us much about it but he says that it is their final task. His last words was that the whole team is really excited and optimistic about this game and that it will definetely be released globally on both Android and iOS. We just need to be patient.
